Limonar de Santomera, Europe’s Citrus Heartland
In case it is not clear yet, we are Limonar, and we are based in Santomera, Murcia. We are the joy of Europe’s orchard. Since 1982, we have been passionately dedicated to what we do best: growing citrus fruits.
We are an agricultural cooperative, which means that we are involved throughout the entire process, from production to distribution and sales. This allows us not only to support farmers, respect our surroundings and take care of every detail, but also to gain in two key areas: time and freshness.

Because being a cooperative also means saving time, which in our language translates into greater freshness. At Limonar de Santomera, we harvest, store, grade and distribute citrus fruits, creating a supply chain that neither slows down nor stops. Thanks to this, we ensure that our products reach their destination with maximum freshness in the shortest possible time.
Behind every lemon there is farmland, expertise, logistics and many hands. Hands that make it possible for us to be Spain’s largest agricultural cooperative, with a production of 63,000 tonnes of citrus fruits and exports to more than 20 countries.
They are also the reason why, once again, Limonar de Santomera will be present at Fruit Attraction. And why Clarica, our lemon beer created to raise awareness of food waste in the agricultural sector, became a huge success last year.
This year, we are returning to Madrid with everything that defines us: lemons, citrus fruits, cooperative spirit, origin, freshness and a strong desire to meet with customers, partners and industry professionals.
Because at a trade fair like Fruit Attraction, we talk about products, markets and the future, but also about the people who make it possible for all of this to reach its destination.
