One of the world leaders in the sustainable packaging market, formed by the recent merger of International Paper and DS Smith, will be present at Fruit Attraction 2025, presenting its joint offering for the fruit and vegetable sector for the first time
The International Paper and DS Smith teams in Iberia will be present for the first time as a single company at Fruit Attraction 2025. The merger of the two organisations, which were already individually positioned as leading companies in the sustainable packaging sector in Europe and America, has created a new market giant that now offers greater capacity, geographical proximity and a wider range of solutions for customers.
The new organisation, called ‘DS Smith, an International Paper company’ for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, maintains International Paper's long history, experience and reputation in developing sustainable solutions for the fruit and vegetable sector. It thus publicly communicates its commitment to the fruit and vegetable industry, which it seeks to serve in a more personalised and efficient manner, with a greater focus on innovation and sustainability. Its consolidated presence as a manufacturer of Kraft and recycled paper in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, Its assembly centres located at key points and its numerous plants specialising in packaging and recycling have enabled it to position itself today as one of the sustainable packaging companies that can offer the greatest competitive advantage to agricultural professionals in the respective regions.
