Fecoam's member organizations have a turnover of more than 1.2 billion euros, of which more than 80% is the result of exports. The organization's track record has led to more than 90% of the cooperative associations in the Region of Murcia being members of the federation. The cooperatives' turnover represents 62% of agricultural production and 26% of sales for the entire agri-food industry. Regional agricultural cooperatives produce food in sectors ranging from olive oil, organic farming, apricots, green plums, citrus fruits, and cut flowers, to nuts, livestock and animal feed, vegetables, peaches and other fruits, supplies, rice, preserves, dairy products, wine, and tomatoes. The Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia celebrates 40 years of existence since its founding in 2025, playing a key role through the cooperative model not only in the rural world, both in agriculture and livestock, but also in society as a whole.

Agri-food cooperatives are the backbone of the territory, drivers of employment, and creators of local wealth.
