Thanks to excellent yields, we ensure the sustainability of horticultural farms and offer varieties with a wide range of genetic resistance and tolerance to diseases. ESASEM is an Italian company, founded in May 1988, which produces and markets professional horticultural seeds.
ESASEM IS RESEARCH
At Esasem, research is at the heart of our business. Since 1988, we have consistently invested in innovation and development to offer high-quality horticultural seeds, responding to the needs of a constantly evolving market. Our research department works with the main vegetable species, including tomatoes, peppers, watermelons, courgettes, broccoli, cauliflower and melons.
We use conventional breeding techniques and advanced molecular biology applications to develop varieties with high genetic resistance to diseases such as tracheomycosis, bacterial diseases, viral diseases and attacks by cyst-forming nematodes.
Particular attention is paid to resistance to TSWV (tomato spotted wilt virus), TYLCV (tomato yellow leaf curl virus) and ToBRFV (tomato brown rugose fruit virus), which are widespread in Mediterranean growing regions. Esadem is exhibiting at Fruit Attraction on stand 9F29.
