CAAE, leader in ecological certification
CAAE, certification that drives the horticultural sector in international markets. In a context in which sustainability, food safety and access to international markets are most crucial, CAAE is consolidated as the certifying body of reference for the horticultural sector and for the agricultural consumption industry.
With headquarters in Sevilla and for three decades of experience, CAAE has been supporting manufacturers, retailers and agri-food industries since 1991 in its international growth and development, offering certification solutions adapted to each level of value.
The entity is the current leader in ecological certification and stands out as the only Spanish entity accredited simultaneously by the European Commission for certification in third countries, the USDA of United States for the NOP standard and the Japanese Agriculture Ministry for the JAS standard. These accreditations allow companies certified by CAAE to access with guarantees some of the most demanding and strategic markets in the world.
In addition to ecological certification, CAAE offers food safety certification services, such as GLOBALG.A.P. and its Add Ons, strengthening the competitiveness and confidence of fruit and vegetable companies in international distribution channels

CAAE's commitment to ecological production also extends to the field of agricultural inputs. The entity is accredited to certify fertilizers and phytosanitary products in compliance with the UN Standards of Insumos Utilizables in Ecological Plant Production, and authorized to operate under the main international organic production standards (NOP, JAS, RTPO, LPO and NOE). Asimismo, is the only Notified Body in Spain authorized for the evaluation of conformity of EU fertilizers under modules B and D1 of the European Fertilizer Regulation.
