AGRICOLA SABAS – Cultivation, Quality and Service
With more than 30 years of experience, Producciones Agrícolas Sabas is a family-owned company specialising in the cultivation, harvesting, packing and marketing of high-quality fruit and vegetables. Our philosophy combines agricultural tradition, innovation and a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring fresh and traceable products from origin to final destination.
We manage more than 1,500 hectares of our own production, distributed between the Campo de Cartagena and higher-altitude areas, enabling us to ensure an extensive production calendar and a continuous supply. We also have our own nurseries, allowing us to control the entire production process, from seed selection through to harvesting.
Our infrastructure includes a warehouse of more than 2,500 m² equipped with vacuum systems for leafy products, refrigerated chambers with different temperature ranges, our own workshops, and a fleet of vehicles, trucks and tractors, providing us with agile and independent logistics.
Approximately 70% of our production is destined for the 4th range food industry, offering a wide variety of packaging formats tailored to each customer’s needs. We also market packaged products under our own brands, SABAS and BELSA-MAR, which have established a strong presence both in the domestic market and in several European countries.
Quality and Sustainability
Quality and sustainability are fundamental to our approach to agriculture. We implement practices aimed at efficient water use through localised irrigation and monitoring systems, develop integrated and sustainable production, responsibly manage agricultural waste, and promote the recycling and reuse of materials and packaging.
Our facilities also incorporate photovoltaic energy, and we work continuously to reduce our carbon footprint, protect the soil and promote biodiversity. All companies within the group hold the certifications required by the market, guaranteeing food safety, quality and respect for the environment.
