GENER frost protection equipment offers an effective and automated solution for protecting fruit orchards, vineyards and other temperature-sensitive crops from damage caused by low temperatures
Its operation takes advantage of the natural phenomenon known as thermal inversion. During cold nights, warmer air remains in the upper layers of the atmosphere, while colder air accumulates close to the ground. GENER machines capture this warmer air using a large propeller installed on top of a tower and direct it down towards the crop, mixing the different air layers and raising the temperature within the protected area.
The range includes both stationary and mobile units, adaptable to the specific characteristics of each farm. Depending on the model, a single machine can protect up to 6 hectares.
