Last few days to take part in the September 2017 edition of Momad Shoes

Important international buyers have already confirmed their attendance at the fair, including Ripley (Chile), Almacenes de Prati (Ecuador), Chapur (Mexico), La Marina (Mexico) and Piaggi (México), as well as Spanish buyers like El Corte Inglés, Bravo Java and Privalia.

MOMAD Shoes, the International Footwear and Accessories Show, the biggest industry showcase for productsmade in Spain, is now selling its final spaces for its upcoming edition, which will be held from 22 to 24 September at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid.

The show, which already has a net floor space of more than 7,000 square metres at halls 4 and 6 of IFEMA – Feria de Madrid, is still contemplating the possibility of including some of the companies interested in taking part in this edition of this vital forum for business and trends in the footwear industry.

The September 2017 edition of the international buyers programme includes representatives from prominent Latin American establishments and distribution groups like Ripley (Chile), Almacenes de Prati (Ecuador), Chapur (Mexico), La Marina (Mexico) and Piaggi (Mexico).

It will also be attended by important Spanish distribution groups and chains like El Corte Inglés, Bravo Java and Privalia.

Exhibitors talk about the benefits of taking part in the show. Germán Navarro from Gioseppo says “For us, Momad Shoes is a great opportunity to meet with our clients without losing that personal touch. It is now more necessary then ever to forge alliances with retailers."

Jorge Carbonell from Wonders, emphasises the promotion companies get by taking part in Momad Shoes. “It is a good platform to communicate with the 5,000 retailers that visit us and it gives brands lots of visibility”.

José Monzonís, president of FICE (Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries) reports that he is happy with the Spanish footwear industry's enthusiasm, evidenced by its
high turnout at this edition of MOMAD SHOES, once again making the show the main event for Spanish footwear brands.

Juan Carlos Fernández de Salort, president of the MOMAD Shoes Organising Committee, stressed the importance of the event and said that "Spain needs a trade fair, both due to the size and consumption of the Spanish market, and because it is one of the world's main manufacturers of quality footwear".

Jaime de la Figuera, director of the show, said that “at MOMAD Shoes we constantly work to include the new needs and functionalities that the market demands, and this September 2017 edition is a good reflection of that.

The brands taking part in this edition of MOMAD Shoes include regulars like Mascaró, Mayoral, Pons Quintana, Pura López, Chie Mihara, Pertini, Luisetti, Victoria, Exé, ChiKa10, Xti, Vidorreta, Alma en Pena, Coolway, Gioseppo, Mustang, and Dchicas. What's more, other brands like Paredes and Hannibal Lagunawill return to MOMAD Shoes September 2017 after a hiatus, along with new and emerging firms like Koala Bay Dorothy Mambo, Abraham Zambrana and Las Pacas.
