Madrid, 21 September 2018 .- The Professional Videogames League (MEDIAPRO Group) presents the first edition of LVP Stars of League of Legends, a day devoted entirely to the spectacle that will take place on 19 October at Madrid Games Week, the video games, electronics and leisure fair organised by IFEMA and the Spanish Association of Video Games (AEVI) and held at Feria de Madrid. In the purest NBA style, LVP Stars will have three different exhibitions, all prominently featuring the Riot Games title.

The day will start with the 1vs1 King of the Abyss, an individuals tournament first appearing at the last edition of Gamergy in which eight players participate, one for each team of the Orange Super League. In the play-offs the winner will be the last survivor on Summoner’s Rift.

The second event of the day on the League of Legends stage will be a small tribute to the history of the national competition. LVP is organising the Game of Legends, a best on the map game in which some of the most outstanding players who have passed through the Spanish league in any of its fourteen seasons will participate. The only requirement to take part is that the players must not be active now and must have left their mark among the public when they were part of the Professional Videogames League.

The heroes of yesterday will pass the baton to the modern-day crack shots. The League of Legends at Madrid Games Week will close with the Match of the Stars, which will be played best on the map and include the best players from the Orange Super League. Two captains, chosen by the public, will be responsible for designing their teams. In this case, the only requirement is that there be at least one representative from each of the teams in the top national competition.

The public will choose the protagonists of LVP Stars

The first LVP Stars in history will have a festive, but still competitive, character, and will make the audience co-responsible for the show. Voting has already started to choose who will feature in the event on the stage of Madrid Games Week. The public will vote the two captains of the Match of the Stars, who will be the players with most votes in total, and the eight representatives of the 1vs1 King of the Abyss, who will be the most voted players of each team.

The Cup Finals, also present at Madrid Games Week

Madrid Games Week is also the setting chosen by the Professional Videogames League to host the final phase of the Clash Royale and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Cups. The first edition of both competitions, which mixes amateur teams with the professional teams of the Orange Super League, is already in its group stage, which is played entirely online.

The grand final of the CS:GO Cup will be played at Madrid Games Week on Saturday, 20 October (3:30 pm), while the final phase of the Clash Royale Cup, which includes both semifinals and the final, will be played on Sunday, 21 October from 11:00 am.
