It will be of great interest for companies in this sector to connect with public administrations at GMC and to participate in future sustainable mobility projects.

The second edition of the Global Mobility Call will be held from 12 to 14 September in IFEMA MADRID’s Recinto Ferial.

The Automotive Aftermarket will play a key role in the second edition of the Global Mobility Call, which will highlight the contribution of component manufacturers, spare parts dealers, dealers, garages and other players in this sector.

IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub are to organise this international Conference-Expo on sustainable mobility under the auspices of the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda of the Government of Spain, to promote the multi-sectoral relationship between companies, institutions, associations and experts, and in which the new developments of each sector will be presented.

In this context, the participation of the automotive aftermarket will be integrated, which wants to claim its space and define its role in the development of sustainable mobility, becoming a key player in this process involving institutions, associations and companies.

The Automotive Aftermarket will have the opportunity at the Global Mobility Call to establish agreements with new operators such as mobility apps, loading infrastructures, management operators, mobile workshops and breakdown services, entrepreneurs and technology applicable for mobility services which connect the providers of these new services with the end user.

The sector also offers its work in the prevention of breakdowns and vehicle downtime, in the control of responsible energy consumption, as well as in the treatment of waste, which is essential to contribute to a truly sustainable and safe mobility.

The participation of public administrations (central government, autonomous regions and town councils) will be of great interest for many of the companies in the sector, with the aim of participating in future public invitations to tender for projects which must be held to promote and modernise sustainable mobility in Spain.

It is also important to be close to these administrations to bring them closer to the needs of the subsectors that make up the Automotive Aftermarket, in order to fulfil their role in making mobility real and sustainable.
