To be held alongside the FORO DE LAS CIUDADES DE MADRID, from 9 to 11 June 2026, at IFEMA MADRID

IFEMA MADRID has launched the marketing campaign for the largest trade event in Southern Europe dedicated to Urban Planning, Environment, Recovery, and Recycling, which will bring together leading companies from these sectors in a single venue. The event will take place from 9 to 11 June 2026, featuring the 22nd International Urban Planning and Environment Fair, TECMA; the 9th International Recycling and Recovery Trade Fair, SRR; and the 7th FORO DE LAS CIUDADES DE MADRID, Urban Space for Well-Being and Sustainability. On this occasion, the event will also coincide with SocioCare, a dedicated space to highlight the care sector for people with dependency needs. This will provide a platform where companies, institutions, and stakeholders from the various participating sectors can share synergies.

Exhibitors from the previous edition of TECMA and SRR have priority to confirm their exhibition space until 30 October 2025. From that date onwards, applications from new exhibitors will be allocated based on the date of application and the requested exhibition area (from largest to smallest).

The most recent joint edition of TECMA, SRR, and the FORO DE LAS CIUDADES DE MADRID, held in June 2024 – given the biennial frequency of these events – achieved record participation, bringing together over 15,000 professional visitors from 48 countries and more than 200 exhibiting companies.

With these positive results, the three events are looking forward to their next edition with optimism. TECMA will once again establish itself as the leading meeting point for urban sustainability, bringing together key players in waste management, street cleaning, urban maintenance, sustainable mobility, digitalisation, recycling, urban services, and the circular economy. The fair, which will occupy Hall 9 of IFEMA MADRID, will focus on strengthening its international reach, sectoral expansion, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

SRR, in the meantime, will reaffirm its status as the primary commercial platform and knowledge hub for the circular economy, bringing together all sectors of the recovery, recycling, and waste management industries. It will be held in Hall 7, covering 16,200 square metres, a 50% increase compared to the previous edition.

Both fairs will be supported by the leading associations – a total of 21 – from their respective sectors.

As for the FORO DE LAS CIUDADES DE MADRID, which welcomed 1,200 attendees, 200 speakers, who participated in 32 round tables on 25 topics, and the involvement of 50 Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American cities to its most recent edition, it will once again stand out as the largest forum for analysis and reflection on the cities of the future.
