Today’s best known up-and-coming brands, together with innovative concepts and international franchises interested in entering the Spanish market, have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming edition of EXPOFRANQUICIA. Organised by IFEMA, it will take place from 19 to 21 April at Feria de Madrid.


The next edition of EXPOFRANQUICIA 2017, which will take place at Feria de Madrid from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 April, is set to be the top franchising event in Spain and the go-to meeting place for this retail method, which, over the three days of the show, will deploy a full array of ideas and business opportunities.

The participation of more than 500 brands displayed on 250 stands and more than 15,000 visitors with high investment capacity, according to data from the last edition, confirm this and offer the sector a dynamic space for making useful contacts with the best guarantees of success.

For this new edition, good progress has been made on marketing the fair, which has already announced the participation of today’s best known up-and-coming brands together with innovative concepts and international franchises interested in entering the Spanish market—an attractive and wide-ranging mix of businesses suited to all budgets.

Brands loyal to EXPOFRANQUICIA, all of them renowned in their field, such as Alcampo, Carlin, Carrefour, Condis, Cocinas Schmidt, Centros Ideal, Carlos Conde Peluqueros, Día, Eroski, La Despensa Express, La Mafia se sienta  a la mesa Lizarran, Luxenter, Peggy Sue´s and Suma Mercados, together with new franchises like Don G, La Mordida, Grupo Beer&Food, Rodilla, Subway and 5 a Sec, have already confirmed their attendance, highlighting the importance of EXPOFRANQUICIA as a leading trade show, due to its size, scope and ability to attract national and international visitors.

Another feature of EXPOFRANQUICIA is that it brings together an extraordinarily diverse offering, with more than 20 sectors on show, including Food, Beauty, Health and Fitness; Home and Decorations; Fashion and Accessories; Hotel and Catering; Specialist Services; and Supermarkets, and various types of businesses centred around services, such as specialist services, care facilities and vehicle, financial, real estate, consulting and advisory services, etc.

EXPOFRANQUICIA will also offer an information and knowledge space at the Madrid Franchise Forum, which, as usual, is being held in collaboration with the AEF. There will be training and advice sessions aimed at franchisees and other people interested in getting started with this business model at the Franchise School, as well as a specific programme for franchisers and future franchisees at the Franchise Observatory.

In view of all this content, the organisers of EXPOFRANQUICIA have decided to extend the show’s opening hours, which will be open from 10: 00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. this year
