From 9 to 11 June 2026, in the Recinto Ferial de IFEMA MADRID.

It plans to expand its exhibition space by 30% and welcome around 120 exhibitors

The International Trade Fair for Urban Planning and the Environment, TECMA 2026, is showing strong prospects for its upcoming twenty-second edition, to be held at IFEMA MADRID from 9 to 11 June next year. The positive momentum in exhibitor participation suggests that the event will expand its exhibition space by 30% and attract nearly 120 exhibitors. The high level of business participation confirms the strength of a sector firmly committed to sustainable urban development.

Renewed support from the leading industry associations has contributed to the growing anticipation surrounding the event. In this regard, it is worth highlighting the institutional backing of Madrid City Council and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which reinforces the Fair’s role as a strategic platform to discuss and promote more sustainable, efficient, and inclusive urban models.

Over the years, TECMA has firmly established itself as the leading trade event for urban planning and the environment. On this occasion, it will once again coincide with the International Recovery and Recycling Fair (SRR), now in its ninth edition, and with the 7th MADRID CITIES FORUM; alongside the Global Mobility Call; and, for the first time, SOCIOCARE, a new trade fair initiative dedicated to care and social well-being, fostering synergies among all these events. In this way, IFEMA MADRID presents a true “Week of Citizen Services.”

The Madrid Cities Forum will address four key themes, each developed in its respective auditorium: Sustainable Urban Development; Innovative City; Quality of Life and Well-being; and Circular City.

This series of events forms a major showcase for citizen services and urban innovation and represents an outstanding opportunity for the leaders of Spanish municipalities committed to the sustainable future of their cities to discover the best proposals and solutions for their projects.
