ATEGRUS Silver®, Gold®, and Platinum® Broom Awards 2026
This year, the awards celebrate their 20th edition, standing as a benchmark in the environmental sector.
ATEGRUS® – the Technical Association for Waste and Environment Management – organizes these awards, which, in addition to recognizing technical excellence, highlight the social, economic, and environmental impact of various initiatives.
The competition is open to both national and international proposals, with only one award granted per entry.
The Broom Awards (Silver®, Gold®, and Platinum®) recognize outstanding efforts in optimizing waste management, urban cleaning and hygiene in cities and industries, as well as all actions that encourage technological progress, social awareness, and innovation to improve quality of life and environmental sustainability.
The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, with the participation of institutional representatives, public administration officials, and professionals from the sector.
The jury will consist of renowned experts in the fields addressed by the competition, as well as members of the ATEGRUS® Board of Directors. The Silver®, Gold®, and Platinum® Broom Awards are supported by ISWA (International Solid Waste Association).
The submission period for all three categories will be open from September 1 to January 15, 2026.
