The Chilean automotive market is gearing up for the upcoming edition of MOTORTEC Chile
From 18 to 20 June, the Espacio Riesco in Santiago, Chile, will host companies and trade professionals from one of the country’s most important sectors, with an annual turnover exceeding USD 600 million.
The 5th edition of MOTORTEC Chile, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FISA-GL EVENTS, will take place from 18 to 20 June 2026 at the Espacio Riesco Exhibition Centre in Santiago, Chile. Preparations are already underway for its next edition, which will establish it as the leading trade fair for the aftermarket in the Southern Andean Cone and as the major meeting point for the automotive industry in Chile.
This is a relevant sector for the Chilean economy, with annual turnover exceeding USD 600 million in a highly motorised country. According to data from the Chilean National Institute of Statistics (INE), the country’s vehicle fleet has reached 6.7 million vehicles in circulation. Furthermore, between 2023 and 2025, Chile recorded annual sales of almost 310,000 new vehicles from around 80 brands operating in the country, reflecting a strong commitment to electrification in recent years.
The average age of these vehicles is between 12 and 13 years, indicating a high demand for spare parts, mechanical workshops and aftermarket services. As a result, events such as MOTORTEC Chile are an important means of connecting the aftermarket industry with an open market.
At the next edition, MOTORTEC Chile will reaffirm its commitment to becoming an unmissable meeting point for professionals, companies, educational institutions, and future technicians, actively contributing to the strengthening and evolution of the automotive aftermarket in Chile and throughout the region.
