The 77th edition of Intergift begins, with design and creation as the mainstays

A total of 737 companies and brands will be showing their new collections for the 2020 Spring-Summer season, in an edition that brings together important advances in decoration, furniture, accessories for the home and contract lines, as well as the highlighted participation of renowned brands of textile edition, wallpaper and wall coverings

With design and creation as the mainstays, the 77th edition of Intergift begins, the International Gift and Decoration Fair, organised by IFEMA from the 5 to 9 February in Halls 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 at Feria de Madrid. A total of 737 companies and brands from 11 countries- Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, United States, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom- participate in this event to promote and market their new collections for the 2020 Spring-Summer season.

Considered as the largest event in the decoration and gift sector in Spain and Portugal, this edition will occupy over 40,000 square metres of exhibition area with proposals from the main decoration and gift companies, leaders in their respective market segments. As usual, it is structured around various areas focusing on gifts, home and interior design.

The leading companies in textile design, wallpaper and wall coatings will all gather in the `Textile Editors´ -area in Hall 1-, with the participation by 130 leading brands, and the addition of the new exclusive ´Interior Design Solutions` area, where the latest in solutions and materials for residential decoration and contract line will be presented, thus rounding out the showcase for the decoration elite.

The interior design collections will be grouped together in the High-end Decoration area–located in Halls 3 and 5-, with a huge range of styles for all tastes: modern, classic, industrial, Nordic, romantic, minimalist and latest trends in home textiles. Additionally, there is the Deco content, -Hall 7-, with a wide variety of products and accessories for the home: tableware, utensils, artificial flowers, candles, small furniture… The Neo area will be showing the latest in gift articles, stationery, gadgets, toys, kitchen items and home accessories. Giftmania -Hall 8-, will host proposals and ideas for youth gifts and promotional items, souvenirs, toys, licensed articles, stationery, party items, original ideas for weddings, christenings and communions. Bazaar will be showing a wide variety of multi-price products and souvenirs -Hall 9-, ranging from tableware, beauty, cleaning, toys and gifts to decoration and electronics.

Intergift, dedicated exclusively to professionals, is held alongside Bisutex, the International Costume Jewellery and Accessories Fair, and MadridJoya, the International Urban and Trend Jewellery and Watch Fair, which will boost the Program for International and National Guests, organised by IFEMA and is expected to attract 380 Major Purchasers from over 41 countries. 

The Textile Editorsexclusive offer at Intergift

The most exclusive side of interior design comes to Intergift with ´Textile Editors`, with the participation of 130 leading international brands of textile design, wallpaper and wall coverings. In its sixth edition, this area will bring together the largest and most comprehensive representation of specialised companies that will turn Hall 1 at IFEMA into the largest showcase of the elite in decoration. An offer that will allow architects, interior designers, stylists, detail designers and other trend-setters in the decoration world, to see the potential of the textile sector in all of its aspects.

In addition to the high-end level of the brands represented is their constant loyalty, as we will again see some of the most international names in the fashion world who have designed several collections, such as Armani, Christian Lacroix, Etro, Missoni and Ralph Lauren. Along with these are other names that have been a constant at the event, such as Aldeco-Interior Fabrics; Alhambra; Arte-Internacional; Baldaquino; Barbara Osorio Fabrics; Camengo; Cole&Son; Coordonne; Damaceno & Antunes; Designers Guild; Dolz Colección Internacional; D. Kieffer by Rubelli; Elitis; Gancedo; Güell Lamadrid; James Malone; Keplan; K.P.; Le Murier; Lizzo; Mind the Gap; Morris&Co; Romo; Paper’s; Pepa Pastor; Peña Internacional; Peñalver Concept; Pierre Frey; Tres Tintas; Sanderson; Yutes; among others. There is a Trend Area within the heart of the “Textile Editors” section, which very visually offers visitors an interesting perspective on the main design lines, colours, patterns, fabrics, etc. that the brands are offering for the new season. 

The same area will also be housing the Interior Design Solutions area, showing “the latest” in solutions and materials for residential decoration and contract lines with the participation of companies such as Guille García Hoz, Homecret, The Painter and Macovalmar, among others.

NEO, innovation and design for home accessories

All the latest in gifts, gadgets, home items and accessories, with creativity and design as the common denominator, are available for professionals in the NEO area at Intergift. Among the specialised companies in this segment are renowned names such as +D2; Anidando; BaddyBoy; Ernesto Barcelona; Cristina Pallarol; Fisura; Mobility On Board; Plint; Protocol; Resetea; Umbra; Visqui Barcelona.

Regalomanía will be showcasing the offer of over 100 companies and brands, who will be presenting the latest in stationery; souvenirs, educational toys, corporate and promotional gifts, smokers’ items; original ideas for weddings, christenings, first communions, parties and other ceremonies; gadgets and licensed items. Companies such as Arditex; Celorama; Coolpack; Grupo Erik; Karactermania; Kids Euroswan; Heart and Home; Helio Ferreti; Janod; Lovely Story; MiquelRius; Nici; New Import Licencias; Top toys; Trediser; Grafoplas del Noroeste; Arditex will be showing their new collections in articles especially aimed for children and youths.


The new collections ooze sophistication, with the use of gold, velvet and fine and delicate finishes, as well as careful and elaborate designs that provide warm and inviting lines that are easy to integrate in any space: homes, shops, hotels, restaurants...

In this edition sustainability, and the positive use of resources, has also reached decoration companies. This is shown in the production processes of all type of decorative objects, which look for less contaminating solutions for materials, with a longer useful life. Among many other ecological options, exhibitors are presenting the use of natural fibres, such as linen, jute, cotton, silk, hemp and wool. Wood from sustainable sources such as poplar, cedar, cypress, French oak, beech, walnut, maple, ash, chestnut, cherry... Also popular is recycling wood from old houses, roads, etc. And decorative objects made with disposable plastic, esparto grass  blinds, artisan mirrors made with natural materials such as esparto grass, carpets made from fishing nets collected from the ocean, ecological candles made with  virgin beeswax or with soy wax.

Discussion area at the Speakers´ Corner at Integift (Full programme)

The Intergift Speaker´s Corner, located in Hall 7 at IFEMA, becomes a knowledge exchange forum with sessions specifically aimed at showcasing the value of decoration in different environments, as well as the best marketing tools to promote and boost business activity. With a dynamic format, the Speaker´s Corner activities will include renowned interior designers, decorators and architects, who will talk about interesting content promoted by various organisers.

Alongside Intergift we will also find Bisutex, the International Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, in Hall 4, and Madridjoya, the International Urban and Trendy Jewellery and Watch Trade Fair –Hall 6, making this a great global event for trends, fashion and consumer goods. It will also coincide with Momad – Madrid is Fashion, over the weekend, from the 6 to 8 February.
