INTERGIFT presents an extensive programme of activities at the Speaker's Corner

Organised by IFEMA, Intergift will be held in the halls of Feria de Madrid from the 11 to the 15 September

Intergift, International Gift and Decoration Fair, offers visitors an intensive and powerful programme of activities, with the participation of renowned industry professionals. From the latest content to the analysis of challenges, trends and opportunities in interior design and decoration, in addition to jewellery and fashion jewellery, with various practical workshops and demonstrations in between, among other themes. All this will be concentrated into five days, from 11 to 15 September, in the Speakers´ Corner that will be located in Hall 7 at Feria de Madrid, organised by IFEMA.

This discussion forum within the fair will host over 35 conferences, presentations and workshops that will analyse the keys and tools to promote and boost the professionals’ activity. For this edition, the area will be designed by the studio Spectre Arquitectura y Diseño de Interiores, backed by the CODDIM Professional Association of Decorators and Interior Designers of Madrid. 

Activities in the Speakers´ Corner will be developed in a dynamic and participatory format, incorporating the newest issues. Due to the extensive presence of interior design in the Trade Fair, there will be various sessions on decorating, such as the presentation by Marta Banús from the Estudio Arquitectura Banús, who will talk about “Designing from experience, organised by Regalo Fama. There will also be a talk on “Developing an interior design studio, by the interior designer Sandra Antón and organised by Ess, Arquitectura de Interior, and another with the title “Spectre Interiores: Universal Design, by Manuel García Fraile and Noé Sánchez from Spectre, organised by CODDIM, Professional Association of Decorators and Interior Designers of Madrid.

The company Canterano organises the presentation “The growth of modular architecture and its influence on Interior Architecture”, by Lucia Canterano;  Rosa Sánchez Sevilla, from the Studio Rosa Sánchez Arquitectura de Interior, will explain“How the distribution of space in your commercial premises influences user experience, and Zuriñe Iturbe, from the Design School INNADIN, will give two presentations: “Domestic interior design: professionalisation of the sector and the new work methods” and “Commercial interior design: new ways of approaching the profession.

The stylist Paloma Pacheco, from the studio Paloma Pacheco Turner, will run the “Workshop on decoration styling”; the landscaper Teresa Vicente-Franqueira will talk in-depth about“Large-scale installations, organised by Aflore Mío, and Artesanía Chopo will offer a presentation on “Decorating an occasional table with the latest techniques, by an expert in Fine Art and Crafts. 

Social media and marketing

Another main theme on the programme deals with issues pertaining to online strategy and marketing, such as the presentations organised by HOUZZ: “Build your online brand and grow your business with Houzz” and “Build your brand in the digital era”, by Leyre Zuazu and Silvia Carcamo, Marketing experts. Engine Software proposes “Tips for including your shop in the digital marketing world, offered by Fernando Martínez, general director of Engine Software and outletjoyeria.com. Brainprise will discuss “How can I sell more through Social Media? with Laura Pérez from Brainprise. Teinor will organise the presentation “Increase conversion on your eCommerce, with Carlos Trobo from Teinor, and 925 LAB presents “Three digital channels to be rediscovered to sell jewellery and fashion jewellery online”, by José Francisco Alfaya.

The company Samyroad is organising an interesting discussion on “A step-by-step to working with influencers, by Juan de la Torre, VP Sales Spain SamyRoad, and Oftex will focus on “New digital tools for exports”, with the collaboration of its founder, Pablo Gómez Berenguer. 

There will also be activities on 3D design, such as the presentation offered by Gravotech, “How 3D design can help jewellery, fashion jewellery and fashion accessories to open new business opportunities, directed by Pedro Sánchez and David Díaz Banegas.

The Speakers´ Corner programme at Intergift is completed with other presentations focusing on the world of sales, organised by Regalo Fama, such as “Shop Organiser: increase your sales by organising your business”, by Albert Andrés, Professional Organiser and President of AOPE (Spanish Association of Professional Organisers); “Retail Evolution: breaking paradigms, by Maite Albañil - Retail consultant and Organisation and Productivity advisor-, and “10 Powerful Words to win over your clientshearts”, by Manuel Amat from La Tiendología.

The company Tandem UP will also be offering a presentation on “Amazon, your best ally for Home&Deco, by the marketing consultant Mónica Casal, and “Do you want better sales? We will help you find the Marketing Agent that you need, by Javier Ignacio Rodríguez Blanco, project manager with CGAC, General Council of Marketing Agents.

Jewellery, stones

The Spanish Gem Institute, IGE, is organising two conferences: “Opals: classification and news, by Remedios Amores Lloret, gemologist certified by the IGE and European gemologist, jewellery appraiser, head of the gem collection of the IGE and teacher; and “Rubies, a trip from Myanmar to Tanzania, by Fernando Vázquez Garranzo, Mining Engineer from ETSI Minas Madrid. Graduate in Gemology by IGE and FEEG, expert in Diamond Grading and expert in Grading of Coloured Stones by IGE.

Perfume workshops

Lastly, Aromas de Andalucía will organise two workshops, "Creativity Lab. Create your own perfume”, offered by David Fernández, perfumer and CEO of Aromas de Andalucía, and "Creativity Lab.  BIO essential oil for wellness and beauty”, by Pilar Espinosa de los Monteros, holistic medicine therapist with ample experience in integrative therapies such as reflexology, shiatsu, reiki, metamorphic technique or yoga.
