IFEMA’s commitment to strengthening its Guest Programme is also important in this respect. This year it attracted 370 major buyers from more than 66 countries, making it a platform for promotion and expansion in Spain and abroad.
At home, these fairs welcomed visitors from all the regions of Spain, the most numerous being those from Madrid, Andalusia, Valencia, Catalonia and Castilla y Leon. The number of Spanish visitors from outside the capital was significant, with 61.4% of the total.
The fairs were opened by Isaac Martín Barbero, Deputy Minister of Economy and Competitiveness for Madrid Regional Government. The event was attended by 1,700 participating companies and brands, making this commercial event a unique space for professional meetings and a reference showcase for trends and new products.
