Solartys, the Spanish cluster for solar energy and the energy transition is to participate in GENERA 2024 with 8 companies
The largest commercial platform for this industry will be attended by Solartys, the Spanish cluster for solar energy and the energy transition with the participation of 8 companies.
The cluster will also contribute to the programme of activities with a workshop, jointly undertaken with AEPIBAL, which will focus on the current status and innovation in energy storage and solar energy.
GENERA, the International Energy and Environment Fair, organised by IFEMA MADRID, will take place from 6 to 8 February. It will be supported by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), part of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, and more than 500 companies are set to participate, 24% more than in the previous edition.
Among them, the participation of the Spanish cluster for solar energy and the energy transition, Solartys stands out. This association aims to promote the sector’s development by encouraging innovation and working with the solar energy supply chain, and at GENERA will represent the companies Techno Gear Bearings (Shanghai) Co., Some, Senda Sostenible, Vanguardland Innova, Proinsener Energy Service, Geonica, Energy Pool y R2m Solution Spain.
In addition to this grouped participation, on the morning of Wednesday 7 a workshop on the current status and innovation in the energy storage and solar energy sectors will be held, coordinated by Solartys, solar energy cluster, and AEPIBAL, the Spanish Battery and Energy Storage Association.
The first part of the workshop will deal with topics related to regulation and modelling of business cases in Spain. In the second part, different R&D collaborative projects will be presented, as well as two round tables on Energy Communities. The first of these will focus on Energy Communities’ innovation projects, and the second on Community Transformation Offices, as a new way to accompany the roll-out of the communities.
