Get your press accreditation
Steps required to apply for your press accreditation:
1.-Access and fill in the form by clicking on the button at the end of this page.
- The system will ask you to attach a scanned copy of your press pass or your professional accreditation document. If you do not have one, a copy of an article/report published and signed by you will do.
- The application form is individual, meaning television teams, press offices and other media sending various people to the fair must apply for each person independently. Any email address entered in the register that has already been incorporated previously, will be automatically discarded by the system.
- The accreditation application process is the same for bloggers, as long as they meet the following four requirements:
- The profile must be at least 1 year old.
- It must have over 6000 followers.
- A maximum of two people is permitted per blog.
2.- You will receive an email confirming registration in the system, which does not imply validation until the application has been evaluated by the Direction of Communication.
3.-After a few days you will receive a second email confirming approval or rejection.
- Should your application be approved, you will have to download your digital pass in PDF or passbook directly before you access the fair.
*IMPORTANT: the press accreditations will now be 100% digital, and application is exclusively online. It is no longer possible to process them on your visit to the fair.
Open for applications until september 22th.

Steps to apply for your press accreditation:
- Access and complete the form by clicking on the button "Press accreditation form".
- The system will ask you to attach a scanned copy of your valid press card issued by organisations, associations, professional bodies and trade unions for the print and written press registered in Spain, or by organisations belonging to the International Federación Internacional de Periodistas (FAPE). Failing that, attach a copy of an article published in the last three months signed by you, or a letter from the media outlet you work for confirming your journalistic work.
- The application form is for individual use. A different email address must be used for each application. Applications for accreditation for teams as a whole will not be accepted.
- Communications departments of institutions, associations, companies and NGOs are not considered press. Audiovisual production companies and exhibitors’ communications, marketing, advertising or public relations agencies must request an exhibitor pass from the client.
- If you are a content creator on digital channels (YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Podcast or Blog), the accreditation application process is the same, provided your channel meets these requirements:
- Minimum channel age: 1 year
- Content related to the trade fair sector.
- Followers:
- Social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X and TikTok) → over 8,000
- Blogs → over 6,000
- Podcasts → over 4,000
- Must have more followers than accounts followed
- A maximum of two accredited persons per channel
- IFEMA MADRID’s Communications Department assesses each press accreditation application on a case-by-case basis.
- If your application is approved, you will receive an email containing a link to the registration portal, where you can download your press pass to your mobile phone. If your application is rejected, we will contact you.
