The Japanese company will present its latest advances in efficiency, air quality and comfort, for the domestic, commercial and industrial segments. Their ioniser purification module for ducted units, the Daikin Altherma 3 water condensing system and the VRV 5 Heat Recovery with R-32 have been selected for the Innovation Gallery.

Daikin, a leading company in the air conditioning sector, will be participating in C&R 2021. Its stand will have all the necessary sanitary measures for Covid-19 prevention. Again this year, the Japanese air conditioning firm will surprise visitors with all its new products at stand 10D02. Visitors will be able to see first-hand the latest solutions from the firm in the field of Air Conditioning, Heating, Hydronic Systems, Ventilation and Control Systems, and the company’s advances in innovation, maintenance and services and the latest air quality improvement systems.

For the domestic segment, Daikin will be exhibiting its complete range of units with R-32 refrigerant and technologies for better air quality, such as Daikin Stylish, Perfera, Comfora, Sensira and FVXM-A floor units, multi units in combination with domestic hot water production and air purifiers. Daikin also manufactures its own refrigerants, maintaining its position at the forefront of designing more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly equipment. A particular innovation this year is its residential Heat Recovery Units with Passivhaus-certified models.

Heating

Daikin’s new heating products this year are the Altherma 3 high power ERLA-D outdoor units with R32 refrigerant, the new Integrated Design Bizona hydrokits, the new-generation Daikin Altherma 3 WS (water condensed), Monobloc units with R-32, the new Monobloc tanks for domestic hot water production with capacities of 90 and 120 litres, and the new-design heat pump convectors. Again this year, Daikin will have an efficient house on its stand, demonstrating how the Daikin Altherma units integrate with other Daikin units. It will also demonstrate centralised solutions and the Aquazone home automation system for controlling and integrating any product or air conditioning dissipater.

For the commercial segment, Daikin will be showing its wide range of wall units, ducted units (including slim profile units with self-cleaning filters), cassette units (also with self-cleaning filters), and with particular focus on the ionising purifier module for ducted units.

For the industrial environment, Daikin will exhibit its VRV system with the arrival of new equipment such as the mini VRV 5 and the VRV 5 Heat Recovery with R32 refrigerant. In its industrial range, Daikin has launched a variety of chiller ranges over the last year, such as the EWA(Y)T-CZ Small Inverter Chillers, FWB and FWP fan coils with pressures available up to 100 Pa.

Control Systems

For control systems, the company will present its latest innovations in monitoring and control. Highlights include, among others, the Intelligent Tablet Controller that allows you to control up to 32 indoor units through the Daikin Cloud Service. The Madoka controller, on the other hand, features an intuitive icon-based touch control interface. And there’s also the Android and iOS app-based controllers for Daikin home, Sky Air and VRV systems. A small adapter connects the unit to home Wi-Fi, allowing you to control the house temperature, program it or receive alerts about any failures or incidents using the smartphone and tablet app. They will also demonstrate remote connection monitoring and control systems for installations.

Finally, a large part of the stand will be dedicated to Daikin Service, showing Daikin’s range of services: maintenance solutions for Daikin Altherma, VRV and chiller equipment, remote monitoring and supervision of VRV systems and chillers (Daikin Cloud Service and Daikin on Site), air quality reports, energy audits, Daikin Rental (equipment rental) and much more.
