FEGECA is the Association of Heat Generator and Emitter Manufacturers. It says that “after a long period overshadowed by the pandemic, the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Fair has been a long-awaited opportunity to meet up again for all of us who are part of the sector.” It considers “that this year’s edition and all the parallel events have been very well received, as evidenced by the large attendance and trade participation.”

FEGECA says that “C&R has always stood out for its pulling power, for enabling manufacturers, installers and other industry professionals to meet, positioning itself as a sign of economic recovery and revival.” And they add that “at this latest edition, we’ve also noted the current global climate emergency and the importance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems to help achieve environmental goals.”

The Association also highlights “the C&R Forum’s packed programme, with engaging panel discussions, presentations and debates by leading sector professionals, conveyed the message about promoting more efficient systems.”

Participation in Workshops

FEGECA took part in the workshops on Towards Decarbonising Buildings and Changes to the RITE (Regulation of Thermal Installations in Buildings) Approved Modifications - Phase I - Future requirements - Phase II. Members of FEGECA’s Technical Commission took part “to defend the different efficient technologies that help decarbonise buildings and the important role that renewable energy sources will play in this process.”
