Climalife will be participating in the next edition of the International Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition, C&R 2021. It has been a renowned specialist in the formulation and production of heat transfer fluids for over forty years and has now launched its Greenway® Neo N range.

Since the launch of the Greenway Neo® range of heat transfer fluids in 2010, it has been highly acclaimed by customers, the company explains. And now its formulation “has changed for the better.”

Greenway® Neo N now has NSF HT1 certification, which means that the product is suitable for accidental food contact, and is now called Greenway® Neo N, maintaining the same heat transfer efficiency as the previous formula.

Environmental Efficiency

One of Climalife’s objectives is to offer technological alternatives to traditional glycols that are also environmentally efficient. The Greenway® Neo N range is formulated with 1,3-propanediol, a plant-based raw material derived from the fermentation of 99.7% purified glucose syrup, with the addition of high-performance hybrid corrosion inhibitors.

A comparative analysis of the life cycle (ISO 14040 standard) of the production of 1,3-propanediol from biological sources, compared to any MPG, shows that it consumes 50% less energy and reduces CO2 emissions during manufacture by 50%.
