PROMOGIFT was attended by leading firms in the PTO industry, and the renewed support of the two business groups in the sector, the Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Items (AIMFAP) and the Association of Manufacturers and Sellers of Advertising and Promotional Items (FYVAR).
For its part, DIGICOM has established itself as the benchmark trade fair for the graphic and visual communication industry. The business generated in this latest edition and the good reception by the participants has meant that more than 80% of the exhibiting companies have confirmed their participation in the next edition, which will take place from 20-22 September, at the IFEMA Trade Fair Venue. They include Digidelta, Afford, Soluciones Integrales Rotulista, Poster & Panel, SwissQprint, Banderas Garsan, Cash Display, M2M, CopyPrint, Imazu, Alarsis, Dicavesa, Modico, Banderas VDK, ClickPrinting, Grupo FB, STI Card, Victor Andujar and Hilos Madeira, among others.
Both events saw more than 125 exhibitors gather, presenting the new products and services of more than 300 brands, including Mimaki, Roland, Epson, HP, SwissQprint, Brother, Ricoh, Mutoh, Sawgrass, Affotd, Durapress, Siser, Sefa, OKI ...
“We are very satisfied with the number of attendees who have attended, after two difficult years for the events sector,” said María José Sánchez, Director of PROMOGIFT and DIGICOM.
Among the more than 5,000 professional visitors there were printers, advertising agencies, designers, sign makers, communication and publicity companies, distributors, interior designers and decorators, among other profiles.
Javier Rodríguez, Managing Director of Grupo Panorama said that “it has been a joy to resume the fair activity and the sector’s meetings in a DIGICOM 2021 with many more visitors than expected”.
DIGICOM had a group of prominent speakers who, during the three days of the event, analysed the opportunities and difficulties that the sector has undergone throughout the pandemic. 3D printing, trends in personalisation, the materials and challenges of digital printing and the management of printing centres in times of COVID were just some of the topics that were discussed.
Based on these figures, the organising committees expect both fairs to be benchmark events in the market, driving the recovery of the participating sectors and the economic growth of the country. For this reason, the two events have been held in a completely safe environment thanks to the health measures implemented by IFEMA MADRID in its venues.
The International Promotional Gift Show, PROMOGIFT will recover its usual dates for the celebration of its next edition, its 14th, which will take place from 25-27 January 2022, at the IFEMA MADRD Trade Fair Venue.
As for the next edition of DIGICOM, which will be held from 20-22 September 2022 in Hall 8 of the IFEMA MADRID complex, it already has more than 40 exhibitors confirmed.
