PROMOGIFT 2023 closes on a positive note having attracted 5,000 professionals from 33 countries

IFEMA MADRID has hosted the International Promotional Gift Trade Fair which showcased the products of 144 companies from 8 countries, thereby consolidating its position as a benchmark for the PTO sector in Southern Europe.
Organised by IFEMA MADRID from the 7th to the 9th of February, PROMOGIFT, the International Promotional Gift Trade Fair, closed its doors after what was a highly successful fifteenth edition. A total of 144 exhibitors (an increase of 29% compared to the previous event in 2022) from 8 countries, and 4,995 visitors (compared to 1,532 last year) from 33 countries attended what is the leading trade fair for the PTO sector in Southern Europe.
This was no doubt partly due to the renewed support of the sector’s two business groups, the Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Items, AIMFAP, and the Association of Manufacturers and Sellers of Advertising and Promotional Items, FYVAR. In 2023, according to the AIMFAP, the industry expects to turn over some 2,2 billion euros, compared to the 2 billon it generated in the previous year.
AIMFAP took the opportunity to hold its traditional awards ceremony on the 7th of February. The Business Excellence Award went to the partners behind CIFRA, and the IDE (Innovation, Development and Strategy) Award went to the Seripafer Group.
The leading firms in this important economic segment - manufacturers, distributors and importers of promotional and advertising gifts and machinery - presented their latest innovations to a broad spectrum of PTO professionals and representatives of publicists, advertising agencies, communication agencies, sign makers, graphic artists, souvenir producers and other related sectors.
No sooner had the doors closed on the event than IFEMA MADRID began working on the sixteenth edition of the International Promotional Gift Trade Fair, PROMOGIFT 2024, which will take place in the Recinto Ferial from the 16th to the 18th of January 2024.
