PROMOGIFT, the International Promotional Gift Fair, has closed the doors on its ninth edition held between 24 and 26 January. The outcome was quite good with participation from 6,226 professionals - 3,216 individual companies - who attended what has become the major commercial hub for the promotional gift market in southern Europe.
PROMOGIFT 2017, organised by IFEMA and promoted by AIMFAP - the Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Material - and FYVAR - the Association of Manufacturers and Retailers of Articles for Promotions and Marketing - was attended by 330 exhibitors, brands and represented companies who exhibited their innovations over a gross exhibition floor space of 15,000 square metres - 12 por ciento larger than in the previous gathering.
In this edition there has been a notable 5 por ciento rise in participation from companies in the machinery and printing sector.
International presence has been notably stronger this time around, with companies and brands from 29 countries coming together (Germany, Belgium, China, France, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom) and a total of 591 foreign visitors from 21 nations, confirming the growing importance of PROMOGIFT abroad.
As far as attendance from within Spain, the Fair welcomed visitors from all the Autonomous Communities, with the strongest representation coming from Madrid, Andalusia, Valencia, Castilla y León and Castilla la Mancha.
One of the aspects that was most highly appreciated by exhibitors was the Professional Guest Programme, which attracted over 200 national and international customers from countries such as Portugal, Andorra, France, the United Kingdom and Poland.
Following the success of this event, IFEMA is already working on the next edition of the International Promotional Gift Fair PROMOGIFT 2018, which will be held in Hall 12 of Feria de Madrid, from 23 to 25 January 2018.
