From 24 to 26 January 2017 at FERIA DE MADRID

Great prospects, with confirmations from 121 companies

Promotion has now begun for the International Promotional Gift Fair PROMOGIFT 2017, organised by IFEMA, which will be held from 24 to 26 January 2017 in its usual place, Hall 12 of FERIA DE MADRID.

The prospects for this year are very good, especially following the positive results of last January's fair, which boasted record attendance, with 6,044 professionals (22 por ciento more than in 2015) and 327 companies and brands taking part (including 195 direct exhibitors, 20.37 por ciento more than the previous year) and a gross surface area of 13,400 m2, an increase of 30 por ciento.

The latest PROMOGIFT fair has awakened great expectations in the promotional gift sector, so much so that hardly has advertising started, and with nine months still to go, 121 companies have already confirmed their attendance, demonstrating the great loyalty of the exhibitors from the last edition who have already reserved 8,897 m2 of exhibition space.

These figures once more confirm that PROMOGIFT is southern Europe's leading promotional gift marketing and business platform due, in part, to the intense internationalisation campaign carried out in recent years.

In addition, the renewed support of associations such as AIMFAP, the Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Material, and FYVAR, the Association of Manufacturers and Retailers of Articles for Promotions and Marketing, is also making a positive contribution to the positioning of PROMOGIFT.

These associations, together with some of the sector's leading firms, make up the newly formed Organising Committee, which is highly representative and firmly committed to the Fair.

At the opening meeting of the Organising Committee, held at IFEMA on 14th April, issues such as the implementation of new sections and the upgrading of existing ones were tackled, with particular emphasis on the fields of machinery (for which there are already confirmations from 30 companies), work clothing and gourmet gifts, among others.

Measures will also be intensified to increase professional participation in the event in regard to the exhibitions and also to visitors focused exclusively on the promotional and advertising gift.
