The fair has been recognised by Interiores magazine for its contribution to the sector’s development and its ability to create business opportunities and professional connections.

Intergift, the International Gift and Home Décor Trade Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, has received the award for ‘Best Professional Champion of the Interior Design Sector’. It was presented by Grupo RBA on behalf of Interiores, a leading magazine for industry professionals. The award recognises the fair’s standing as one of the leading meeting places for the interior design, textiles, home décor, and gift industries. It also acknowledges its contribution to driving business, connecting professionals, and displaying trends and innovation.

The award was collected at the Interiores Awards ceremony by Arancha Priede, IFEMA MADRID’s Managing Director of Trade Fairs and Congresses, and Julia González, Director of Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Trade Fairs, including Intergift. They attended on behalf of the institution and the fair.

At the ceremony, Arancha Priede said: “This award recognises a history built alongside thousands of companies and professionals. At IFEMA MADRID, we see trade fairs as places where opportunities emerge, relationships are built and economic activity is generated. Intergift embodies this purpose and encourages us to continue supporting the sector as it faces the challenges ahead.”

Recognition for more than eight decades of history

The award comes at a pivotal moment for Intergift, which is preparing for its 88th edition, taking place from 3 to 6 February 2027, with a more specialised offering and new opportunities for professionals in interior design and the home sector.

Among the main new features is the launch of Soluciones para el Interiorismo (Interior Design Solutions) a new area that will broaden the fair’s offering with materials, flooring, technical wall coverings, and other solutions for the comprehensive development of residential and contract projects. This new offering will complement the established Editores Textiles section, strengthening interior design’s presence across Intergift as a whole.

The fair will also once again bring together Home & Design, Deco, and Gifts, creating a specialist offering for the diverse range of professionals involved in furnishing, decorating, and designing spaces. Alongside its commercial offering, Intergift will once again host initiatives for the sector, including the 3rd Interior Design Projects Awards, the 2nd Madrid Region Furniture Week and a range of professional events designed to encourage knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and business opportunities.

The next edition of Intergift will take place at IFEMA MADRID, alongside MOMAD and Bisutex, strengthening its appeal and fostering synergies among professionals and businesses across the lifestyle sector. For more information, visit the INTERGIFT website.
