International Week of Electrification and Decarbonisation, in partnership with GENERA and MATELEC, opens registration for trade visitors
The event will take place at IFEMA MADRID from 24 to 26 November 2026 and will bring together the key stakeholders in the energy and electricity sectors.
The biggest event on the calendar for the Spanish energy and electrical equipment sector, International Week of Electrification and Decarbonisation, has now opened registration for trade visitors. With this event, which brings together the GENERA and MATELEC trade fairs, IFEMA MADRID will once again see the key stakeholders in the energy and electricity sector come together at a crucial moment for the sector’s transformation.
The forthcoming edition will boast more than 32,000 m² of exhibition space and more than 500 participating companies, cementing its position as the premier gathering for professionals working in the fields of renewable energy generation, electrification, energy storage, energy efficiency, digitalisation and smart infrastructure.

GENERA is set to cement its place as the leading showcase for clean energy, self-consumption and sustainability solutions. For its part, MATELEC will consolidate its own position as the leading platform for the electrical and electronics industry, with a particular focus on technological innovation, digitalisation and the development of smart infrastructure.
Holding the two trade fairs jointly makes it possible to offer a comprehensive overview of the value chain, creating synergies between strategic sectors and facilitating a more comprehensive approach to the challenges posed by the energy transition.
The scale of this project is reflected in the results of the latest edition, which attracted more than 57,000 trade visitors and more than 800 exhibiting companies, confirming its position as one of Europe’s largest trade events in the fields of energy, electrification and sustainability.
