What is ExpoÓptica?

ExpoÓptica, International Show for Optics, Optometry and Audiology, is the leading trade fair of the sector in the Iberian Peninsula and a commercial meeting point for all its actors in Spain and Portugal. The fair, organised by IFEMA, presents at this edition an updated concept, in line with the new needs of the market, incorporating 14% more prestigious national and international brands, as well as novel and attractive contents, which include from the latest advances in the world of optics, optometry and audiology, to the new fashion designs of the leading participating brands.

ExpoÓptica 2018 brought together 159 direct exhibiting companies and about 170 brands, presenting their latest products and innovations, in a key professional environment to publicise their products and open new distribution channels.

The fair is held in parallel with OPTOM, 26th edition of the International Congress of Optometry, Contactology and Ophthalmic Optics, organised by the General Council of the Opticians-Optometrists Association.

ExpoÓptica's offer includes everything from ophthalmic and contact lenses, to frames, sunglasses and optical instruments, raw materials, optics equipment, furniture, machinery, cases, accessories, spare parts, maintenance products, computer solutions for opticians, franchises, training ... In short, a complete overview of this industry and the sectors of Optics, Optometry, Contactology, Ophthalmology, Low Vision (Health), and Fitting out for Points of Sale. All this is combined at this 33rd edition with a whole range of products and services from the Audiology sector, another of the key segments in the world of optics.

At the same time, the show offers an interesting evolution of its fair concept thanks to new technologies, which will turn this event into a more digital fair, where social media will take centre stage, with active networks that will encourage conversation and project the image and the product of the participating companies.

And in addition, monographic spaces and initiatives that complement the exhibition and put EXPOOPTICA at the epicentre of the optics and audiology sector for 3 days.
