The 2024 edition of Expodental welcomed 30,000 trade professionals
The dental sector came out in support of Expodental 2024 with 15% more direct exhibitors and 50% more international companies than in 2022
The 17th edition of Expodental in 2024 enjoyed unanimous support from the entire national and international dental industry. The atmosphere at the event was one of success and confidence, which was palpable in the aisles in Halls 4, 6 and 8 at the Recinto Ferial. Organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with Fenin, Expodental welcomed almost 30,000 professional visitors.
According to Expodental director Ana Rodriguez, the fair more than achieved its objective: “The industry has spoken, and their response is what matters most to us. The participating companies' and visitors’ confidence in Expodental confirms this is a leading international event. It is truly an honour to be able to work with such a professional sector, which has such an ambitious vision of the future.”
The figures confirm this with a 15% growth in the exhibition offer with direct participation by 375 companies and a 50% improved international presence compared to the previous edition in 2022 (134 international companies). The content available to attendees, which included 40 professional lectures and talks, had an enormous impact and attracted numerous professionals to discover the innovative techniques presented in two Speaker’s Corner areas (news and training). These features, coupled with the international promotion of the trade fair and Italy as a guest country, were essential to the magnificent result of the event.
Meanwhile, Fenin’s invaluable collaboration in the organisation of Expodental was crucial and fundamental to its resounding success. The result of all the hard work of the Spanish Federation of Health Technology Companies was a lot of successful networking, alliances and fruitful meetings. These included the signing of a strategic collaboration agreement between the Technology and Health Foundation of Fenin and the Spanish Dental Foundation in the context of Expodental with the purpose of promoting knowledge and awareness of the importance of health technology in oral health.
