The company participates in C&R 2025, organised by IFEMA MADRID from 18 to 20 November, and announces the publication of its first Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).

With the incorporation of the Environmental Product Declarations of the TD EVO PF ECOWATT in-line fans, the entire range of SILENT bathroom extractors, the NASHIRA heat recovery unit and the OZEO FLAT single-flow VMC, Soler & Palau reinforces its commitment to its customers, transparency, continuous improvement and sustainability.

For Soler & Palau, carrying out the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of its products and publishing the results through the EPD has multiple benefits: it provides in-depth knowledge of the environmental impacts associated with each product, identifies materials or processes with the greatest impact and defines reduction strategies. In addition, it responds to an increasing demand for information from customers, facilitates whole building LCAs and allows for anticipation of future legislative changes.

"We want to offer the market not only technically efficient products, but also clear, transparent and accessible environmental information that allows our customers to design and install the most sustainable solutions for people and the planet," says Soler & Palau's Product Sustainability Manager, Martí Roig.

NASHIRA, the heat recovery ventilation unit for residential applications, was one of the first products to have a WTP. It covers all phases of the life cycle of the device, including the use phase.

The manufacturer is also the first of its kind to obtain a DAP for an in-line centrifugal fan for the TD EVO PF ECOWATTrange.

In line with this, all bathroom extractor fans in the SILENTfamily, including SILENT, SILENT DUAL, SILENT DESIGN and SILENT ECOWATT, also have a DAP, making them the first bathroom extractor fans on the international market to have published this document, according to the company.

This breakthrough is not only a technical achievement, but also a recognition of the company's commitment to a greener future.  The EPDs reflect, for example, that Soler & Palau's products are manufactured locally, that all the plants involved use 100% renewable energy, some of them with self-consumption facilities, and that they are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
