Juan de la Fuente (Braseli): “At C&R 2025, we managed to bring all the work we’ve been doing over the years to fruition”
Braseli (Grupo Plásticos Ferro) plays a key role in modernising the air-conditioning sector (plumbing and heating) and improving efficiency through the development, manufacture and marketing of plastic pipework systems for gas, geothermal energy, cold water and pressurised hot water. The company’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Sales Manager emphasises that at C&R 2025 “we were able to bring to fruition all the work carried out over recent years, showcasing new products and presenting our sales, expert advisory and development network”.
What does Braseli bring to the air-conditioning sector in the field of plumbing and heating?
Braseli, a brand marketed by Ferro Systems and part of the Plásticos Ferro Group, plays a key role in the modernisation and efficiency of the air-conditioning sector (plumbing and heating) through the development, manufacture and marketing of plastic pipework systems for gas, geothermal energy, cold water and pressurised hot water.
As one of the companies within the GPF Group, our values include innovation and continuous improvement; by drawing on all our knowledge and skills, we build stable and close relationships with our clients and partners. It is this corporate synergy that enables Braseli to bring unique value to the air-conditioning market.
What range of pipes and fittings do you offer?
At Braseli, we supply pipework systems for plumbing and heating (multilayer and PEX), including a full range of fittings (brass and PPSU) and various types of connections (slide-on sleeves, press fittings and expansion fittings); multilayer pipework systems for GPF GAS, a product that is the result of our international experience in other countries and one we have pioneered in Spain since 2016; PE100GAS pipework systems for gas distribution and underfloor heating systems.
We also offer one of the most comprehensive ranges on the geothermal market, including PE100-RC boreholes, PE-Xa boreholes, geothermal manifolds for technical rooms and a wide range of bespoke geothermal manholes for the heat exchanger field.
And then of course there is our OEM (private label) manufacturing division, through which we have been serving other manufacturers and retailers in the domestic and international markets for over 30 years.
What external factors are currently affecting the air-conditioning sector, and how is your company dealing with them?
We are currently facing a new situation in which we are seeing a trend towards market concentration in the distribution sector, not to mention the socio-political issues that are having a significant impact on our commercial activities. Against this backdrop, our group has always chosen the path of specialisation and close relationships, seeking to provide the added value that our clients value so highly.
How important was participation at C&R 2025 for Braseli?
Our participation at C&R 2025 marked a turning point for Braseli. Although we had been attending the trade fair for many years alongside Ferroplast, we made our debut as exhibitors in our own right at the 2023 event and we prepared for the 2025 edition with a great deal of effort, hard work and enthusiasm. We strengthened the sales team, setting up an expert advisory team, and we bolstered product development.
At this event, we were able to showcase the results of all the work carried out over the years, presenting new products (flexible multilayer piping for underfloor heating and the PE-Xa pipework system with GPF TERM expansion fittings), and introducing our sales, expert advisory and development networks to our partners and friends.
