Alfonso Olcina, Sales Manager and Director at Tewis, had a "hugely positive" assessment of the company's participation at C&R 2025 "The turnout exceeded all expectations, especially for the first two days, running at almost full capacity from the moment we opened to closing time. "We estimate that around 800 professionals from the sector visited our stand."

"We estimate that around 800 professionals from the sector visited our stand."

What has Tewis's involvement in C&R 2025 contributed to the company's momentum?

For us, this year's edition of C&R was particularly special. We were coming off a year of great challenges after the flash flooding in Valencia and surrounding areas, and this forced us to reinvent ourselves and reaffirm our capacity to adapt. Thanks to the support of Daikin, the commitment of our team and the trust of our customers, in just three months we were back up and running as normal and ready to return to such an important event as this one.

Participating, back in the same spot we've always had, with a full technical stand, and receiving such a positive response from the sector, reaffirms our vision: the future is natural. We remain committed to CO2, to practical innovation and collaboration with all stakeholders in the sector. With this experience, we hope to further drive the transition to efficient, sustainable and cost-effective solutions for all our customers.

How would you assess your experience at the exhibition, the number of visitors to your stand and the business meetings you held?

Tewis's assessment of C&R 2025 was very positive. "The turnout exceeded all expectations, especially for the first two days, running at almost at full capacity from the time we opened to closing. "We estimate that around 800 professionals from the sector visited our stand."

The profile of the typical visitor was very much that of a highly qualified professional, allowing us to hold numerous business meetings and make progress on agreements already in the pipeline. The atmosphere was very dynamic and enriching, both technically and in terms of networking.

What were the main products and innovations you unveiled?

At this year's edition we focused our proposal on CO2-based commercial refrigeration solutions. Our sector is constantly evolving, not only technologically, but also in terms of regulation. There are currently many systems and solutions based on low-GWP refrigerants, but many of them could come under regulatory scrutiny in the future, making solutions based on natural refrigerants such as CO2 a safe investment for food retail. Here at Tewis, we have tried to showcase our CO2 and Triple Efficiency solutions:  energy, regulatory and economic.

This edition also saw us present our ECO2SMART+ system, an evolution of our patented system that multiplies the efficiency of CO2 plants by up to 35%, making it the best current technology with zero overheating compared to other systems on the market. All of this has been endorsed by a study by the UJI and published in the International Journal of Refrigeration, on the prestigious ScienceDirect journal platform.

Finally, we also had a corner dedicated to a technological development we are particularly proud of. A system integrated in our terminals with IoT functions allowing us to monitor, adjust and optimise the performance of the systems in real time, anticipating performance deviations and reducing energy consumption. All in a way that's hassle-free and requires no installation.
