Miquel López: Frigabohn to showcase several new products and strengthen relationships at C&R
Frigabohn brings responsible innovation in the form of industrial and commercial refrigeration solutions to meet the demands of the market, according to Miquel López Villanueva, the company's Sales Manager for the Iberia region. At C&R 2025, the company will present a number of new products, including the Nova multi-refrigerant, CO2 and A2L commercial evaporators; the AZUR commercial evaporator; CO2 Racks; and Chiller Propane - Elevate.
As a manufacturer of refrigeration equipment, what products does Frigabohn offer?
We have two main areas. Firstly, we have a complete range of exchangers: evaporators (NOVA, NK, etc.), condensers, gas coolers and air coolers adapted to different natural refrigerants such as CO2, low GWP refrigerants such as A2L and the use of glycols for industrial processes. On the other hand, we have several product lines with compression system for transcritical CO2 called COL2D and subcritical called SUBLINE, focused on the different retail sectors (supermarkets), logistics centres and industrial process cooling, thus offering our customers a comprehensive solution.
One initiative we have included this year is the Frigabohn Academy. A technical training platform for our transcritical COL2D plants for our customers, which allows us to share all the technological advances that we are incorporating in our machines and, at the same time, provide the technical teams looking to take the step towards CO2 technology with the necessary training and qualifications to use it efficiently and safely.
What kind of innovation does your company bring to the market?
We bring responsible innovation, offering industrial and commercial refrigeration solutions to meet the demands of the market. We are investing in technologies that not only meet the highest European standards, but go even further. This means our customers benefit from reliable, durable and environmentally friendly solutions.
What do you think about the legalisation of the installations?
Digitisation and smart maintenance of installations is hugely important. Consumption monitoring, remote control and the use of data intelligence help us optimise equipment, reduce costs and anticipate potential breakdowns.
What is the role of training?
We believe providing continuous training to customers to be hugely important and, in parallel, truly value the work of refrigeration technicians in order to work on joint initiatives that make this profession more visible as the great future option that it is and that allow us to have the technicians, engineers and operators necessary to meet the demand of our sector.
How important is your company's participation in C&R 2025 and what innovations will you be presenting at the event?
The C&R fair is a strategic meeting point with our customers and partners. Being here allows us to listen first-hand to your needs, to showcase our innovations and to strengthen relationships that go beyond a product: we are talking about trust and long-term mutual commitment.
