Gemma Sauret, International Marketing Director at GIA Group, highlights the importance of energy efficiency, digitalisation, smart control and monitoring systems, and the adoption of more sustainable refrigerants complying with F-Gas regulations for the future of the HVAC and refrigeration sector. Furthermore, she notes that the C&R exhibition, organised by IFEMA MADRID, represents "a strategic opportunity to strengthen direct relationships with installers, distributors, and technical professionals, fostering knowledge sharing and specialist support right from the initial project stages”.

What core drivers guide GIA Group's approach on the HVAC market?

Here at GIA Group, we actively work to drive the sector forward through technological innovation and energy efficiency. Our commitment is focused on incorporating high-performance technologies that lower energy consumption. We develop products featuring connectivity, smart control, and digitalisation, adapting to evolving market demands. In addition, we are promoting training for technicians and installers to deliver enhanced service and technical support.

What range of solutions does your company provide?

We provide a comprehensive portfolio of solutions across HVAC, air-to-water heat pumps, and domestic hot water (DHW) for both residential and commercial sectors.

Our products are designed to adapt to diverse market needs and requirements, as heating and cooling a home is vastly different from servicing an industrial facility. With this in mind, we offer a complete range of configurations: split systems, ducted units, cassettes, VRF, monobloc systems, chillers and commercial refrigeration equipment.

Furthermore, our specification team provides specialised technical consultancy for medium- and large-scale projects. We are also investing heavily in training our technical service teams to offer comprehensive support across both pre-sales and post-sales, catering to the individual needs of every client.

Which issues in the HVAC and refrigeration sector do you consider most relevant at present?

We believe it is vital to highlight key aspects driving the future of the sector, such as energy efficiency, digitalisation, smart control and monitoring systems, and the adoption of more sustainable refrigerants that comply with F-Gas regulations. I would also highlight continuous training for installers and the growth of air-to-water heat pumps as a leading solution for efficient heating and cooling.

What benefits do you see in GIA Group’s participation in the International HVAC and Refrigeration Trade Show (C&R), organised by IFEMA MADRID?

Participating in trade shows like this aligns fully with GIA Group's strategy to strengthen its positioning within the trade channel and build closer ties with key industry players. Against this backdrop, its presence in C&R represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen direct relationships with installers, distributors, and technical professionals, fostering knowledge sharing and specialist support right from the initial project stages.

Furthermore, these trade fairs provide an ideal platform to raise the visibility of our technological innovations and high-efficiency solutions, whilst also enabling us to identify key market trends.
