"C&R is the great meeting point for the sector in Spain, and for us it’s a unique opportunity to bring our innovations to installers, distributors and decision-makers," says Eduardo Romano, Managing Director of Midea Frigicoll HVAC Spain. “At the 2025 show we will showcase our latest technologies in efficient air conditioning under the umbrella of our Green Vision, Blue Future philosophy.”

What is the basis of the solutions your company offers to the market?

Our commitment to research and technological development allows us to bring to the market products that significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions, contributing to decarbonisation and a more environmentally friendly future, both in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Since the launch of our world's first UN-backed R290 production line in 2010, Midea has led the global adoption of this environmentally friendly refrigerant. We currently operate 12 advanced R290 production lines, with an annual capacity of 6.4 million units, supported by extensive applications that generate measurable reductions in carbon emissions worldwide.

What products and innovations do you offer?

Among our latest solutions is Solstice, a residential air conditioner with a 180° rotating wind deflector that gently balances the airflow for unrivalled comfort. Fast cooling and heating to meet daily needs. At the heart of Solstice is Midea's latest AI engine, ECOMASTER, capable of predicting environmental changes and optimising energy consumption with exceptional accuracy. This allows Solstice to maintain a precise comfort temperature and achieve up to 45% energy savings.

Also noteworthy is the Nature fan heater range, a monobloc solution with natural refrigerant R290 that stands out for its high energy efficiency (up to A+++), low emissions and excellent performance, even in cold climates.

In addition, we go one step further with the Midea ESS (Energy Storage System) solution, which allows energy from renewable sources, such as solar energy, to be stored and used when it is really needed. This solution provides flexibility, efficiency and autonomy to the user, enabling smart and more sustainable energy management of the home.

What is your company's relationship with other players in the sector?

One of the keys to success in this sector is the strength of the relationship between manufacturers, distributors and installers. At Midea, we firmly believe that maintaining a healthy professional relationship, based on trust and mutual benefit, is what allows us all to move forward together.

We have a highly trained and technical team, capable of providing service and support in all phases of a project: from initial design to installation, commissioning and after-sales service. This approach allows us not only to offer innovative and efficient solutions, but also to ensure that our partners always have the necessary support. In addition, initiatives such as Midea Plus, our installer loyalty programme, reinforce this commitment by offering benefits and recognition to those who rely on us every day.

What goals has Hidrochlor set for its participation in C&R 2025?

C&R is the major meeting point for the sector in Spain, and for Midea it is a unique opportunity to bring our innovations to installers, distributors and specifiers. “At the 2025 show we will showcase our latest technologies in efficient air conditioning under the umbrella of our Green Vision, Blue Future philosophy.” We want professionals to learn first-hand how Midea is leading the way towards more sustainable, digital and intelligent air conditioning.
