Jaume Alcover: BAXI's new catalogue boosts energy efficiency

BAXI, a leader in air-conditioning solutions, has presented its 2025 Catalogue with important new products like the R290 residential fan heater which, together with the UIMB indoor unit range, allows the control of up to 6 air-conditioning zones. Jaume Alcover, Marketing Director of BAXI, explains how the new catalogue boosts energy efficiency and reduces environmental impact.
Jaume Alcover, Marketing Director of BAXI, tells us that technology and sustainability are key pillars in the company's new catalogue, designed to boost energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact in any type of building, both residential and services. "We incorporate innovative solutions such as advanced aerothermal systems, high-efficiency condensing boilers and connectivity options to control units remotely, improving both comfort and the responsible use of resources," explains Alcover.
"With these innovations, BAXI reaffirms its commitment to promoting a cleaner and more efficient energy model. The catalogue reflects our commitment to a greener future, integrating advanced technology at the service of comfort and sustainability”.
Efficient equipment
BAXI's new 2025 Catalogue contains the full range of efficient and renewable air conditioning equipment and systems that provide a solution to the comfort needs of users. Important product innovations have been incorporated, including the Iridium residential monobloc fan heater, with eco-friendly refrigerant R290. The design of the outdoor units has been completely renewed, resulting in more compact units, with a hot water production capacity of up to 75ºC and the possibility of controlling up to 6 independent air-conditioning zones with the UIMB indoor units.
This innovative equipment stands out for its energy efficiency, low environmental impact and easy installation. The Iridium heat pump uses the eco-friendly refrigerant R290, which guarantees minimum environmental impact (GWP=3) and exceptional performance with an A+++/A++ energy rating across the range. It can also produce water at a temperature of 75ºC even at -10ºC outside temperature, ensuring maximum temperature in the most adverse conditions.
Another new addition is the highly efficient Amik domestic air conditioner (A+++ in refrigeration) with SOFT AIR technology to minimise cold draughts and a UV purification system. It comes with a WiFi module as standard for remote management using the My BAXI AC App. This WiFi module will also be available as an option for the Anori 2 and Nanuk models.
The new additions also include the Platinum iCompact wall-hung boiler with GAS INVERTER technology and 1:10 modulation ratio to optimise gas consumption. It offers up to 36 kW of power for domestic hot water. Its brass hydroblock integrates a smart semi-automatic filling system activated by pressing a button on the boiler itself or remotely from the TXM thermostat or your My BAXI App. Not forgetting the new Sila 400 ventilation unit, a heat recovery unit with high efficiency, close to 90%, and a higher flow rate that offers low consumption for installation in single-family homes and offices.
