Jaume Alcover: BAXI's innovations at C&R reinforce our commitment to sustainable solutions
Through its participation in C&R 2025, BAXI has solidified its position as a comprehensive provider of high-efficiency climate control systems for all types of buildings. "We have introduced our most advanced and comprehensive range, with solutions designed to accelerate the decarbonisation of buildings and improve efficiency in any type of installation," says the company's Marketing Director. "The new products launching in 2026 – AstraFusion, Auriga HP+ and the new fan coil units for hotels – reinforce our commitment to offering sustainable, connected solutions that are ready for the actual needs of the market".
BAXI, a specialist in residential, commercial and industrial climate control, presented its most comprehensive portfolio to date at C&R 2025, reinforced by three important innovations that will reach the market in 2026: the AstraFusion hybrid system, the new generation of Auriga HP+ high-temperature heat pumps, and the new fan coils for hotels, designed to maximise comfort, efficiency and automation in the hospitality sector.
As a major development for 2026, BAXI presented AstraFusion, a combined system that integrates climate control and DHW production via storage. The solution can be combined with a 200-litre floor-standing tank or a 120-litre wall-mounted tank. In addition, the system supports the connection of up to three indoor units of different available types (Anori 2/Amik wall-mounted, ducted, cassette or console), and is compatible with models up to 7 kW maximum cooling power. It will be available from the second half of 2026.
Auriga HP+
BAXI also showcased the new Auriga HP+ range, designed for centralised installations requiring high temperature and maximum efficiency. With capacities from 50 to 160 kW and supply temperatures up to 70 °C, this series is positioned as a sustainable solution thanks to the use of R290 natural refrigerant. Auriga HP+ not only provides climate control but also manages the DHW circuit and the back-up system, all from a single integrated controller. It is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2026.
The third innovation presented by BAXI at C&R 2025 targets the hotel sector: ultra-compact and super-silent fan coil units, with simplified installation, easy maintenance access and full room automation. The exclusive and patented ventilation grille integrates supply and return in a single element, allowing seamless aesthetic and functional integration in hospitality projects.
Other solutions
In commercial climate control, the BHP2, Kr3B, KUBIC NEXT and the new VERNE ranges were highlighted, with improvements in efficiency, connectivity and performance, aimed at large buildings such as shopping centres, supermarkets, offices and industrial facilities. In centralised aerothermal systems, the PBM4-i demonstrates how it is possible to combine high temperature (up to 80 °C), natural refrigerant R290 and energy classification A+++ in a compact solution without the need to handle fluorinated gases.
"This year at C&R we have presented our most advanced and comprehensive range, with solutions designed to accelerate the decarbonisation of buildings and improve efficiency in any type of installation," says Jaume Alcover, BAXI's Marketing Director. Alcover adds: "The new products launching in 2026 – AstraFusion, Auriga HP+ and the new fan coil units for hotels – reinforce our commitment to offering sustainable, connected solutions that are ready for the actual needs of the market".
