Good progress in the marketing of the trade fair to date has seen increases of 23.12% in the number of exhibiting companies and 42% in floor space occupancy..

Implications of the adoption of new refrigerants, energy rehabilitation, zero emission buildings, solutions for food distribution and CAEs are some of the topics to be addressed in the FORO C&R 2023 sessions.

From 14 to 17 November, the AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION, C&R 2023, fair will turn the halls of IFEMA MADRID into Spain's leading platform for the air conditioning, climate control, ventilation, industrial and commercial refrigeration, heating and plumbing sectors. At a key moment of market recovery and coinciding with the celebration of the fair's 20th anniversary, all expectations point to this being a highly representative event, reaffirming its position as the primary meeting point for the entire value chain of this industry.

This is demonstrated by the excellent rate of contracting registered to date, which already stands at 245 direct exhibitor companies and an occupancy of 22,160 m2, representing increases of 23.12% and 42%, respectively, compared to the final figures for 2021.

Furthermore, following the first meeting of the Technical Commission of the fair's Organising Committee, the topics to be addressed by FORO C&R 2023 in its various sessions have already been established. This programme of Technical Conferences, as on every occasion, will be far-reaching and of great professional interest, as it will cover the most relevant current issues in the sector, and will be coordinated by some of the associations that make up the C&R Organising Committee

In a first preview of contents, on Tuesday 14 November, the morning will be devoted to the implications of new refrigerants in thermal installations, in reference to the requirements of the new fluorinated gas regulation, in a session coordinated by AFEC (Association of Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers), and in the afternoon, disruptive solutions in industrial refrigeration will be examined by AEFYT (Association of Refrigeration Companies and their Technologies).

On the second day of the fair, the challenge of all aspects of energy refurbishment will be addressed, not only in terms of energy but also in terms of the comfort and health of users, in a conference organised by AFEC, and in the afternoon session, the ASHRAE Spain Chapter will give a presentation on the case study of the project undertaken at the Hospital Universitario 12 de octubre in Madrid.

On Thursday, 16 November, FORO C&R will address three highly topical issues such as Zero Emission Buildings, a session coordinated by ATECYR (Spanish Technical Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration); the Challenges and Solutions for Food Distribution, and the CAEs (Energy Saving Certificate System), the latter two sessions coordinated by AEFYT

In addition, as at every event, the Innovation Gallery will showcase the main innovations and R&D&I in the sector, and the fair will devote a special chapter to promoting good practices in installation, in the Techniques Applied to Air Conditioning Workshops (TAC) and the Refrigeration Workshop.
