FabricAir's VarioDuct: thermal versatility in one duct
FabricAir, a specialist in textile air diffusion solutions, has announced a new update to its VarioDuct product. This new version allows the duct to be installed in curved form, providing greater flexibility and versatility in the design and configuration of ventilation systems.
FabricAir's VarioDuct has been widely recognised for its ability to provide ideal air diffusion for cooling and heating in a single duct. Now, with the possibility of curved installation, this revolutionary system offers even more options to HVAC designers and professionals.
One of the key features of VarioDuct is its internal membrane, which separates the heating and cooling systems. Depending on the required flow pattern, an actuator adjusts the position of the inner membrane and covers half the duct, without losing effective cross-section and without increasing the sound level. The system can be operated remotely from any BMS system by means of a standard built-in electric actuator with different supply voltage options.
In addition, VarioDuct offers minimum to maximum regulation capability in both sections, allowing different diffusion solutions to be used and ensuring a high level of comfort in each zone.
