Epta presents its new sustainable and innovative refrigeration systems
The Epta Group, specialised in commercial refrigeration for food distribution, has demonstrated its leading position in sustainability and efficiency in the sector through the new equipment and solutions presented in response to the changing needs of retail outlets.
The Epta Group recently showcased its sustainable innovation solutions, namely its new XTE refrigeration system, highly efficient in various working conditions, and the leading vending system VIPay, based on artificial vision. XTE, Exta transcritical efficiency, is a patent-pending system that is efficient in all environmental conditions. It increases the efficiency of installations made with the natural refrigerant CO2, helping to meet European Union targets for reductions in consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, which are intended to be reduced by more than 50% by 2030.
The company has also presented VIPay, the vending sales system applied to vertical display cases based on artificial vision, which is valid for both refrigerated and frozen display cases. VIPay allows payment with a card that unlocks the door, the cameras detect the chosen product, and when the door is closed again, the charge is made. These are just a few examples of Epta's commitment to applying the most cutting-edge technologies to achieve the best results.
