The Association of Air-Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers (AFEC) and the National Association of Energy Services Companies (ANESE) signed a collaboration agreement to promote energy efficiency, decarbonisation and sustainability. Since 1977, AFEC has been promoting a sustainable and efficient heating and air conditioning industry, which encompasses heating, air conditioning, heat pumps, ventilation, indoor air quality, regulation and control, etc.

AFEC and ANESE signed a collaboration agreement to carry out joint activities, support training, promote good practices, and develop specific programmes and projects, all with the aim of promoting energy efficiency, decarbonisation and sustainability. Both organisations will work on actions aimed at the study and analysis of aspects related to managing energy efficiency and environmental models, energy demand or regulation and control, among others, in order to facilitate access to relevant information for members of both groups, and thus align efforts and common activities for the development of professionals and the sector.

The collaboration agreement, which was signed by Marta San Román, managing director of AFEC, and Carlos Ballesteros, managing director of ANESE, also reflects that they will work together in sector and social communications to spread the values of efficient energy management and sustainable systems for heating and cooling installations, so that both knowledge and good practices contribute to the growth of the market of energy saving and decarbonisation.
