The International Dental Federation has chosen Spain as the setting for the world’s most important Dental Congress.
The FDI chose Spain from among three candidate countries (Spain, China and the United Arab Emirates) to host the world’s most important Dental Congress, which will take place between 29 August and 1 September 2017 in Madrid. The convention will be held at IFEMA’s FERIA DE MADRID facilities.
More than 10,000 professionals from 150 countries all over the world are expected to attend to learn first hand about scientific innovations and cutting edge techniques presented by internationally renowned professionals, enabling them to improve the services currently provided by dentists.
The Spanish Dental Association (Consejo General de Colegios Odontólogos y Estomatólogos de España) will host the event, transforming Madrid into the focal point of the dental world, showcasing state-of-the-art, new technologies and clinical advances and positioning Spain as a pioneer in oral health. According to the President of the Spanish Dental Association, Dr Oscar Castro: “Our organisation is extremely pleased to have been chosen and we sincerely believe that the right decision has been reached. We are very keen to welcome this important international dental event in 2017”
