VETECO begins stand allocation, with almost 250 companies confirmed nine months ahead of the event
The build-up to the trade is progressing at a record pace as part of International Construction Week, which will take place from 10 to 13 November 2026 at IFEMA MADRID

VETECO, as part of International Construction Week , has launched the first phase of stand allocation, a key milestone in the sales process which has already seen around 250 companies confirm their presence. The event, which forms part of International Construction Week, will take place from 10 to 13 November 2026 at IFEMA MADRID, and has already reached 90% total projected occupancy, with 240 companies confirmed and a floor space close to 31,500 m² spread across Halls 8, 9 and 10.
As a leading event in the sector, VETECO will once again bring together a wide range of exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in windows, lightweight façades, roofs and skylights, fittings, machinery, home automation, pergolas, fly screens and all forms of sun protection, establishing itself as the key venue for professionals in the building envelope sector.
VETECO forms part of International Construction Week, which is also setting new records and has already attracted seen over 420 companies sign up. Within this shared framework, VETECO is cementing its position as an essential platform for the building envelope sector, driving growth that will be further boosted by the simultaneous staging of CONSTRUTEC, SMART DOORS and PISCIMAD. The convergence will create a unique exhibition offering and a significant increase in the number of national and international trade visitors.
2nd International Construction Congress
One of the highlights of International Construction Week will be the 2nd International Construction Congress, held in Hall 7, and will address topics of great interest to visitors to VETECO.
The Congress for key professionals across the value chain—architects, quantity surveyors, property developers, construction companies, distributors, investors, manufacturers, institutions and specifiers—will once again address issues central to the future of the industry. These include industrialised construction, digitalisation, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as building regulations, sustainability, leadership, talent acquisition and employment. Its strategic nature and the timing to coincide with the International Construction Week trade fairs will ensure a high-calibre turnout and a high level of knowledge-sharing.
Meanwhile, VETECO has launched the 16th edition of the VETECO-ASEFAVE Awards; with the call for entries is now available on the VETECO website and will be officially announced shortly. These awards are among the most prestigious in the sector, recognising innovation, technical excellence, sustainability, industrialisation, installation and the contribution of companies and professionals to the quality and development of windows and façades in Spain, through the Window Award, the Lightweight Façade Award and the Solar Protection Award. There are also awards for the Best Final Year Degree Project and Master’s Projects.
All in all, VETECO 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark event for the sector, driven by the consolidation of its leadership, the growth of the exhibition itself, the inclusion of new strategic content and one of the most important congresses in the European construction industry.
