84 companies have already confirmed their participation in the Fair, 10% more than the previous event.

Premier event for the recovery and recycling industry: 9–11 June 2026, IFEMA MADRID

The International Trade Fair for Recovery and Recycling, SRR 2026, organised by IFEMA MADRID will take place from 9 to 11 June next year and is set to achieve historic participation levels in its ninth edition. With seven months remaining, the leading trade fair for this industry in Southern Europe already has 84 companies confirmed to attend. The event has booked 90% of its available floor space, which represents a 10% increase in net floor space compared to the previous edition. These figures represent a milestone in the history of the event.

SRR, which is once again promoted by the sector's industry association, the Spanish Federation of Recovery and Recycling (FER), will return as the meeting point for the leading firms in this important economic segment. Its key players will share an exclusive environment for commercial and business meetings, finding solutions for a more sustainable future while sharing knowledge and experiences.

To achieve this, in addition to the commercial exhibition where companies will find the premier showcase for achieving maximum visibility for their new products and proposals, the Fair is preparing a comprehensive programme of conferences and activities in collaboration with the sector's main organisations. This will provide a space for high-level analysis and debate.

Furthermore, for the first time, SRR will set up a specific SCRAPS area for collective extended producer responsibility schemes, which regulate manufacturers' compliance with their product waste obligations.

The support of the sector and the loyalty of the exhibiting companies, who renew their commitment to the leading Southern European recovery and recycling fair at each edition, are crucial to the positive outlook generated by SRR 2026. This is a space for business and debate of the highest order. It once again coincides with the International Urban Planning and Environment Trade Fair, TECMA, now in its 22nd edition; the 7th MADRID CITIES FORUM; GLOBAL MOBILITY CALL; and for the first time, SOCIOCARE, a new event where we will give visibility to the care sector for dependent persons. These Halls share a cooperative focus. From 9 to 11 June next year, it will be the week of public services, an unmissable event for public administrations.

In summary, SRR 2026 will be a must-attend event for companies aiming to lead the transformation towards a circular economy, join the builders of the sector's future, and stand out as a benchmark in sustainability, innovation and environmental commitment.

For companies, participation in SRR is a prime opportunity to: make direct contact with decision-makers in the sector (including institutions, large companies and professionals in the recycling and waste management value chain); obtain maximum visibility for their technological offerings, a reflection of the R&D efforts of this industry, among professionals who are precisely looking for innovation; expand their potential market beyond national borders; participate in an event of global scope; promote the brand in a business environment with shared collaborative advantages.
