The 14th Awards for Educational Innovation and Innovative Teaching Experiences will be judged by a panel of leading figures in educational innovation.

SIMO EDUCACIÓN, the Salón Internacional de Tecnología e Innovación Educativa (International Exhibition of Education Technology and Innovation) organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, will once again recognise outstanding teaching practice through the 14th Awards for Educational Innovation and Innovative Teaching Experiences, which in this edition will be judged by a jury of leading professionals in the fields of educational innovation, digital transformation, and school leadership.
This jury will be responsible for evaluating the experiences that will form part of the 12th edition of SIMO EDUCACIÓN. It will be made up of Nuria Sabaté, president of the Espiral Association for Education and Technology; Juanmi Muñoz, co‑director of the Observatory for Educational Innovation and Digital Culture (ODITE); Carlos Magro, president of the Open Education Association; David Álvarez Jiménez, CEO of Conecta13; Julio Albalad Gimeno, director of INTEF; Daniel Molina, representative of the Neuroeduca Congress; Francisco Javier Palazón, director of EDUCACIÓN 3.0; Ana Rodríguez, director of SIMO EDUCACIÓN; Toni González Picornell, president of FEDADI; and Jorge Delgado, president of FEDEIP.EDUCACIÓN; Toni González Picornell, president of FEDADI; and Jorge Delgado, president of FEDEIP.
SIMO EDUCACIÓN will be held for the twelfth time from 11 to 13 November under the theme “Leadership in management for educational transformation”, bringing together teachers, management teams, educational leaders, companies, and experts around the trends, tools, and experiences that are driving the evolution of the sector.
Recognition across all educational stages
The call for entries for the Awards will remain open until 15 July. Once the deadline has passed, the jury will select a total of 35 experiences, which will have the opportunity to present their initiatives at the next edition of SIMO EDUCACIÓN before sector professionals. From among these, the winning proposals in each area will be chosen.
This year’s call comprises ten categories: Best School Leadership Project; Best Innovative Experience in Early Years and Primary Education; Best Innovative Experience in Secondary Education and Baccalaureate; Best Innovative Experience in Higher Education (VET, University, etc.); Best STEAM Experience; Best Gamification Experience; Best Emotional Education Experience; Best ICT Project for Inclusive Education, Equality and Diversity; Best Sustainability Experience; and Best Educational Experience in Artificial Intelligence.
In the last edition of the Awards, the winning projects showcased the quality and capacity of educational innovation to respond to current challenges. In this regard, a range of initiatives stood out, focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence applied to learning, STEAM projects, gamification, and the use of technology to promote inclusion, sustainability, and emotional education.
