IFEMA MADRID has started marketing the eleventh edition of the Salón Internacional de Tecnología e Innovación Educativa, SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2025 (International Exhibition of Education Technology and Innovation), which will take place at the Recinto Ferial from 28 to 30 October 2025. The event, organised again in collaboration with EDUCACION 3.0, is already promising to be a resounding success. The theme this time will be ‘Technology and pedagogy: the alliance that drives educational innovation in times of AI,’ serving as a leitmotif, which is supported by the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF).

SIMO EDUCACIÓN has established an admirable reputation over ten successful editions, with the most recent event held in November 2024. That edition featured a record participation of over 10,000 professional visitors, 92 direct exhibitors, and 140 brands from 9 countries. According to the new director, Ana Rodríguez, “We are starting from record-high participation figures, which, combined with the level of anticipation we are observing among companies and the positive momentum the sector is experiencing, make us optimistic and lead us to expect a high turnout, surpassing the records set last year.”

In this regard, thanks to the presence of major companies in the sector, SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2025 will once again be the leading showcase for the latest technological solutions applied to education. These innovations will drive progress in areas such as remote learning, among others, thereby facilitating students’ learning and equipping them with tools to confidently face 21st-century challenges. These innovations will also enable improvements in teaching and learning processes, as well as in the management of educational institutions.

Furthermore, the fair will feature an intensive agenda of parallel activities, providing a high-level space for analysis and reflection to the large community of professional visitors, including teachers, school directors, ITC coordinators, and public officials.

One highlight of this programme is the ceremony for the 13th Edition of the Educational Innovation Awards, whose call for entries has just been launched, inviting participation. Eleven winners will be selected across various categories from a total of 35 finalist experiences, including special recognitions such as the 7th Award for the Best Innovative Teaching and Technological Experience 2025 and the 7th Award for the Best Innovative Experience 2025.

The agenda of SIMO EDUCACIÓN will also include the traditional Directors' Day (which, this time and as a new feature, will be held over two days and renamed SIMO DIRECTORES). This will focus on the opportunities that technology offers in classrooms from the perspectives of leadership and educational management. Additionally, the SIMO INSPIRA program will feature 20-minute talks designed to inspire and motivate educators in their daily classroom practice.

The event will also feature the presentation of the SIMO IMPULSO Awards, which aim to highlight business initiatives and new companies that develop innovative projects contributing to the improvement of the education sector across its various academic levels.

Finally, all this will be reflected on the LiveConnect platform, which is once again providing the ecosystem of companies and professionals in this important economic segment with a space available 365 days a year, enabling them to generate new business opportunities.
