INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION is a selection of the new equipment, services and solutions presented at SIMO EDUCATION 2025 that stand out for their innovative nature.

With this platform, INNOVA SIMO EDUCACIÓN aims to recognise innovation in the field of technology for education and the work being carried out in this regard by companies in the sector, as well as highlighting and disseminating the most significant contributions brought together in this field at SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2025.

Likewise, the fair, in its role as a commercial platform and meeting point for the sector, offers INNOVA SIMO EDUCACIÓN an added value for exhibitors and visitors, who will have a selection of the sector's cutting-edge products.

Those companies exhibiting directly at SIMO EDUCATION 2025 that consider that they have a product that incorporates a technological development, a new design, or new functionality or some new aspect that can be considered innovative,  and wish to present it as a candidate to form part of the INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION selection, in accordance with the requirements set out in these rules, may participate.

If the product presented is manufactured under a patent owned by a company other than the exhibitor, the express written consent of the other company will be required, authorising the SIMO EDUCATION 2025 exhibitor to present its product.

The products presented:

• They must be exhibited at SIMO EDUCATION 2025.
• They must have an innovative character, therefore they must be new products or, in the event that the product already existed previously, it must be a new version that provides a significant improvement over the existing one. It may be a prototype or a product already on the market and, in any case, its commercialisation in Spain must have started after 31 Octubre 2025.
• It must have been conceived for mass production and marketing.
• It must be an innovative product. For the purposes of these rules, innovative is defined as that qualitative attribute of the equipment, services or solutions that materialises in a technological, organisational, functional, design or differential instrumental contribution, and which produces an improvement.
• It is an essential requirement that the exhibiting company holds the marketing rights or the patent for the product being presented or the express written consent of the company that owns the patent.

• The presentation of each product will be done through the Product Presentation Form. This form will clearly state what the innovation consists of; the novel aspects of the product, the added value it provides in terms of technological progress, usability, functionality, design and its relevance in terms of new educational methodologies. The date on which the product will be marketed in Spain will also be indicated, as well as the rest of the data requested.
• The Product Presentation Form must be received duly completed before 12 September 2025.
• For a better assessment, the exhibitor may optionally submit, in addition to the Product Presentation Form, the descriptive material of the product (information in digital format) in Spanish or English (or translated into one of these languages if it is published in a third language). This material must be received at [email protected] before the deadline of 12 September 2025.
• In the case of a patent owned by a company other than the exhibiting company, the express written agreement of the other company must be received at [email protected] by the deadline of 12 September 2025.
• The exhibiting company may submit one or more products provided that it submits one product sheet per product.
• A Selection Committee will decide whether or not to include the product in INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025.

• This will be made up of professionals of recognised prestige in the field of Education and ICT and communication specialising in these areas.
• Its function will be to examine the information available on the products presented and their suitability to the established requirements and, consequently, to decide whether or not to include them in INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION.
• The decision of the Selection Committee will be irrevocable.

The organisation of SIMO EDUCACIÓN undertakes to carry out the following activities:

• The selected products will have a preferential display within the LIVE Connect platform.
• Specific press release issued by the SIMO EDUCATION Communication Office, which will form part of the fair's press dossier.
• Publication on the SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2025 website and social networks.
• Mention in other communication elements of the fair.Special signage at the fair of the location of the stands that present a product included in INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025.

On the other hand, companies with a product selected in INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025 will be able to:

• Highlight the selected product on their stand with the INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025 badge that will be provided.
• Use this badge in the marketing of the selected product: communication, advertising, packaging, etc.

Deadline for submission of products to INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2023: 12 September 2025.

Communication to participants of the selection result: before 26 October 2025.

Publication of the composition of INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025 to the media before 28 October 2025.

• The submission of a product to INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025 implies knowledge and acceptance of the content of these terms and conditions, as well as acceptance of the decision of the Selection Committee without giving rise to any possible appeal.
• All products submitted to INNOVA SIMO EDUCATION 2025 must comply with the regulations in force in at least one European Union country.
• The Selection Committee will undertake to maintain the necessary confidentiality, although IFEMA MADRID/SIMO EDUCATION cannot be held responsible for any incidents in this respect.
• The decisions of the Selection Committee will be final.
• The fair reserves the right to suspend, postpone, modify or cancel this call for applications for reasons deemed necessary, in which case participants will be informed of this eventuality.
