Pablo Ramos (Ramos STS): SICUR allows us to introduce ourselves as a European benchmark in protective workwear

The Executive Director of Ramos STS, tells us that the novelties to be presented by this company at SICUR 2026 "will be very much in line with the interests set by the European Commission and with those of our clients, who ask us above all to improve thermal stress caused by disposable or reusable protective workwear in critical areas".
Since 1986, Ramos STS has been offering disposable protection and workwear solutions for chemical, biological and/or nuclear hazards, as well as for qualified environments, clean rooms and hospitals.
What products and solutions does Ramos STS offer?
Since 1986 we have been offering disposable workwear and protection against chemical, biological and/or nuclear hazards in all industries, as well as workwear for qualified environments, cleanrooms and hygienic disposable workwear; more recently we have introduced a range of solutions for the hospital-sanitary environment, due to our licence to manufacture sanitary products.
What are the main industries targeted by these solutions?
In 2026, Ramos STS will be 40 years old and our intention is to continue developing and providing concrete and specific solutions according to any type of user, whether in the agri-food, pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, automotive, aeronautical, space, agricultural industries, etc. In short, for all environments where the risks mentioned above exist.
What are the benefits for end-users and society?
Our main purpose is the safety and protection of users, without forgetting comfort, which, due to the existing environmental risks, affects our workers more and more directly in all environments and in the most critical areas. Our core value within this community associated with personal protective equipment is, fundamentally, to promote and develop specific and concrete solutions that help to respond to any personal protection need for users. Dedication to the development of special garments, based on the knowledge and assessment of risk prevention in each industry.
What does your participation at the SICUR bring to Ramos STS?
Our participation in SICUR since 1988 has always been interesting, because of what it has offered us in terms of visibility and as a national and international sectorial meeting that has allowed us to present ourselves as a specialist and European reference in disposable protective clothing for exposure to chemical, biological or nuclear hazards.
We cannot yet announce the novelties we will be presenting at the next edition of SICUR 2026, but they will be very much in line with the interests set by the European Commission and with the interests of our clients, who ask us every day, above all, how to improve thermal stress caused by disposable or reusable protective clothing in these critical areas.
